10 Night / 3 Ceremony Bwiti Iboga Retreat

November 15 - 25, 2024

At SoulCentro, guests can experience traditional Missoko Bwiti Iboga medicine ceremony with the highest possible medical standard of care and with the blessing of Bwiti elders, drawing on a decade of experience with hundreds of ceremonies and an excellent safety record. >>> Explore our guest reviews on Google and Youtube.

Iboga and the Missoko Bwiti tradition support people to heal themselves from within and connect deeply with the soul. We see that the soul of each person has the answers to their most sacred questions—and these answers can be discovered with the help of the medicine. When honored, the soul serves as the clear compass for authentic happiness and visionary creativity.

Retreats are offered at a peaceful, private center near Paquera in the southern area of the Nicoya peninsula, Costa Rica. Enjoy the lush tropical environment, fresh air, quietude, sunny days, gulf ocean views, and local pristine beaches. A sparkling, highly mineralized pool overlooks a tranquil jungle view. Wildlife abounds and enchants daily including monkeys, iguanas, and a virtual symphony of birds.

Iboga ceremonies can be among the most challenging of all plant medicines, and yet they can be among the most healing and liberating. Every journey is unique. Difficult days may be followed by deep peace, clarity, and insightful contemplation. Though Iboga is most commonly known for its ability to help heal addiction, its deeper functions are spiritual discovery, deeper self study, visionary creativity, and soul-aligned strategy. This is a truth medicine, for people who want to know the truth about themselves, their relationships, and the nature of life itself.

The medicine is sustainably and ceremonially sourced from mature, wild plants through sacred relationships. Reciprocity is a sacred principle for the SoulCentro team, supporting collaborative service projects with our indigenous community in Gabon as well as scholarships regularly gifted to Costa Rican citizens.

Exquisite hospitality is our intention. Upon arrival into Costa Rica, guests are transported to our space by a professional driver. Guests enjoy a visit to a beautiful, spacious nearby beach. Gourmet, fresh food is prepared by a chef according to individual dietary preferences. Filtered water is always available. Fresh organic juices and smoothies are served daily. Enjoy private air conditioned suites with queen sized beds and fresh, hotel quality fine linens. Bathrooms are stocked with locally made, organic, essential oil infused toiletries. Housekeepers attend to the space daily. Certified, seasoned massage therapists are present for optional treatments.
